At Peak Consult we strive for incredibly high standards across all aspects of our high-performance loudspeakers. The design, the construction, each manufacturing process, and every minute spent listening to our loudspeakers is enacted with a cost no object philosophy and a goal to provide an incredible sonic performance. We use the most sophisticated technology for our drivers. We select quality components for our crossovers, for the performance they offer regardless of their price. We employ construction methods that are labour intensive, to create a cabinet that is a solid resonance free structure to allow the finely tuned elements to perform at their best. Every detail is assessed, questioned, and optimised to achieve an unsurpassed result. The sound of a Peak Consult loudspeaker is intended to be truly breathtaking. Not in the way of hefty bass or a crystal-clear treble or with a midrange that dominates. No, the impressive aspect of a Peak Consult loudspeaker is the reproduction of music as it was performed by the musicians.

This audio experience should convey the personality, emotion and ambience of the performance of those artists to a level that should move you. Every piece of music should let you forget the surroundings of your listening room.

Our obsession for perfection

Peak Consult was founded by Per Kristoffersen in 1996,

a talented carpenter, passionate music lover and avid audiophile. Per decided to create his own cabinets for speakers he bought, that he felt could be done much better. From focusing on better engineered cabinets, to then developing complete loudspeakers for friends who recognised his talents, he dedicated more time, energy and focus into developing the ultimate high-end speaker, using carefully selected drivers and high quality crossover components.

In 2021 a new era commenced for Peak Consult. To fully

maximise the brand’s opportunity on a worldwide scale, the company was bought by two investors, music lovers and audiophiles, Lennart Asbjørn and Wilfried Ehrenholz.

Lennart Asbjørn, CEO, managing the production and administration in Middelfart, Denmark. Lennart is a passionate audiophile himself and ensures the day to day running of the business can keep up with the growing global demand. With a successful career background in haute cuisine, Lennart totally understands the values of meticulous preparation, perfect presentation and faultless high-quality.

Wilfried Ehrenholz is supervising product development, strategy and supporting Peak Consult in marketing and distribution. Wilfried was the co-founder of Dynaudio and for many years the sole owner. His experience and know-how in the audio business and speaker development is second to none. Like Lennart, he is also a passionate music lover and has a depth of knowledge gained from decades of speaker development.

‘Compromise’ is the worst word in design

Design details are the elements of a design that describe how it looks and functions. Design details can involve the aesthetic aspects of the design, such as materials, colours and textures. They can also involve technical aspects of the design such as dimensions, components, and construction.

With a no compromise approach (by removing any financial constraints) the Peak designers can focus on delivering the ultimate performance potential from every element of the speaker design, because they can focus on refining every single detail.

This supreme craftmanship is at the heart of the Peak DNA and design philosophy. Originating from outstanding Danish furniture tradition, this craftsmanship, innovation and obsession with quality is second to none.

The cabinet enclosure of a loudspeaker system plays a vital role in shaping the sound that is produced by the speaker. It can affect the overall frequency response, as well as the volume and clarity of the sound and plays a significant role in determining the overall quality of the sound that you hear.

Combining a timeless aesthetic with a functional need to position the drive units in optimum conditions, the Peak engineers go to extreme measures to control and remove all resonances and vibrations from the cabinets.

A fully completed Peak Consult cabinet is the perfect environment for the proprietary high-performance drive units and hand-crafted crossover network. These cabinets allow the drive units to perform with no limitation in dynamics and musical balance. The resulting performance is simply breathtaking and highly addictive – no sound signature, just what the artist intended.
